If I could have anything in the world, I would like my son to be cured of his autism disorder.  When I first came to understand that he is different, we took him to an autism specialist and he said my son is affected by autistic spectral disorder.  He could not communicate to others, he would not socialize, he would not speak and there will be behavioral problems, our whole world shattered into pieces in front of our eyes.  We could not take it at all.  But he was the apple of our eyes and so we swore to make his life comfortable.  He is improving day by day thanks to the different therapies such as yoga, speech, occupational, behavioral etc.  But I am praying god that he should speak.

The thing that would mean a lot to me would be my son’s Pikachoo toy.  I did not have an issue even after ten years of marriage.  We underwent some medical procedures which only worsened my health and so we decided to go for adoption.  We got our precious baby when he was 3 months old. We thought he is the soul of our lives, but shocked to the core when he wouldn’t walk even when he was fifteen months old.  We did not know that he was affected by autism.  But when he walked after fifteen months I could never describe my joy in words.  I had tied this toy to the window, and when he pulled it, it came along with his hands.  He just walked.  And thought that he could walk only with the toy and whenever he wanted to walk he would pick it up in his hands.

My favorite childhood memories would be my visit to the libraries with my father and later with my friends in the neighborhood.  We lived in a quarters where there were many children of my age group.  We enjoyed doing different activities together, such as gardening, doing chores at home and also running errands for parents as well as neighbors.  One of the activities we enjoyed most is going to the library which was on a hill near our residence.  We had to walk along a lonely road to reach the library and we had different experiences each day we went.  It will be one of my favorite childhood memories forever.

I like to do gardening, reading books, watching favorite TV programs and also going out with friends.  I enjoy going out for shopping and watching cinema films with friends.   When I have to really by things I enjoy shopping, and not otherwise.  I do not believe in shopping when you get bargains and buy all unnecessary things which you will never use in your lifetime.  I do not go for shopping often, if at all I feel like going out I accompany friends who like to shop or who are in need of buying things.  This way I just go around and fulfill my desire to go for shopping.  I make a list of things I need and I wait for a nice opportunity to buy all these at a time, in a place where you can get good bargains.
